My rocker box breather grommets seep alot of oil , and after a hot days ride my 07XB9 smells like hot oil . I have done a breather mod , and noticed when I did that , the plastic fittings for the breather hoses that go into the grommet sure fit loose in them .
Are new Grommets any better fit , or tighter ?
The bike is an 07 w/3700 miles so I would think they are not worn out . I just dont want to replace them and have the new ones leak just as bad . Anyone have this problem ?

I hate oil leaks of any kind !

new grommets will fix ya right up. the fit is a little more snug, but nothing spectacular as i recall.

be sure oil is not leaking out of the breather tube where it connects to the PCV valve. From there oil is collecting at the base of the valve, which will cause the grommet to appear as if its leaking. I think this is the case with one my new grommets..
