Would you recommend the American Sport Bike scoop or the factory Uly scoop with the inner piece for a right side air scoop. All the 851 & 852 numbers Ive seen for the ULY part are wrong per the local dealer. He says MO902.4A8MBE for the scoop @$49.95 and MO903.02A8A for the inner piece at $12. Not much difference in the total with shipping, just need some advice. Will the American Sport Bike scoop work as well without the inner part to direct the air properly & will the Buell parts fit my XB12SS ??

Part of it does, but the kit you listed is for the police bike with siren, not the normal Uly.

The one Froggy linked is the same unit I put on my Firebolt. Had to source a few stainless button head allen bolts locally but it bolted on pretty easily.

Even in HOT south FL summer weather of 95 degrees I rarely have the fan kick on any longer since installing that RSS. It always ran before. Best 50$ I spent on the Buell IMO

Those numbers are what the local HD parts guy gave me, he said the other numbers were no good. Nice to see they know what they are doing. The comfort kit is one I saw on Ebay last night. Ill order the American Sport Bike kit, thanks for the help

I know for a fact the Uly kit on a 07 STT will sorta work. The scoop. and header cover will fit without a problem. The underseat duct will NOT fit at all. I know because I bought the kit the day if went on sall and put it on my STT. The scoop and cover alone made a big difference.

It is cheaper to buy the scoop pieces and header heatshield separately than buying the Uly kit and not using the fan duct. The fan duct will fit if you really heat it up and force it, but it ain't worth the hassle in my opinion.

The under seat ducting will fit on a STT. I put it on my wife's bike. It does make the spring preload a bitch to change, tho. I had to mod the seat base slightly but it worked out well.
