Hey badwebbers. I swear I remember seeing a discussion somewhere about being able to use car headlights in an XB with some minor modding, but my search of the knowledge vault is proving useless. Does anyone remember seeing this or am I just batty?

The standard headlight bulbs are automotive headlight bulbs.
I just replaced my high beam with a $8 walmart replacement.

I just posted about a great tool for putting the spring retainers back on:

R bikes use a standard fog lamp bulb, not sure what S bikes use.

Or were you asking about the entire lighting fixture?

I guess I could clarify a bit. I mean that each bulb has high and low beam and yes I have seen the mod to have them both on for high.

You can install a Bi-Xenon HID light kit but will need to swap one of the headlight housings to get a somewhat equal beam pattern.
