Dean, You can get whatever you want. Just talk to any of the piston mfgs. like CP or JE. What kind of boost do you want to run? You don't want to go too low on the CR as it will significantly reduce your low rpm performance.

Contact CP-Carillo. Ask for Harly (yes, her real name) in tech. http://cp-carrillo.com/

They are making me some custom pistons based on my combustion chambers, valve diameters and cams. Not as expensive as you'd think.

I'm making 12:1 compression for the race bike but asked about the same pistons for street (a friend is interested) and she said that would just be a phone call to get them re-made in 10:1

Harly KNOWS these air-cooled machines. You just need to know pretty specifically what you need, they can't guess.

Ericz I was actually going to contact you about this whole thing in the future but didnt want to bother you until I have the ball rolling so I can ask the right questions.

Im going to be doing a setup very similar to yours. Are you running a GT15 or GT22? I want to run into the 130-150hp range, reliable.. dont really want to go crazy with the motor though, as I want to keep it reliable.

You think a 8.5:1 bike running ~15psi can get there with a custom set of cams? Who did your cams, which turbo and how much boost would you recommend for me?

I already have bigger injectors, newer style fuel pump and a high pressure regulator (im told I need a different one that changes under boost, where can I get this)

How did you go about the MAP sensor? GM 2 or 3 bar style?

I have a GT2252 with the free-float turbine housinghttp://turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/catelog/T urbochargers/GT22/GT2252_452187_6.htm

8.5:1 would work, but you don't need to go that low for 15psi. I hit 161hp with 10:1 and 12psi and 187hp with 9.6:1 and 15psi. I am still running stock cams.

You should build your turbo setup, and then start at a low boost pressure and increase slowly from there to see how your tuning and power goes. A big factor in increasing boost pressure is preventing detonation, and my water injection has allowed me to push the boost as far as I have. Without water injection or something similar(not many choices) you will have a hard time maintaining a good power band and pushing higher boost.

Any fuel pressure regulator will work that maintains a consistent dynamic fuel pressure (at the injector nozzle) during positive manifold pressure. I chose a Turbosmart regulator http://www.turbosmartonline.com/index.php?s=fuel-p ressure-regulators

A 2 Bar MAP sensor will do well for up to about 15psi and a 3 bar will work up to 28psi.
