I'm owner and builder of new custom with S&S 124CUI but with Buell can I go faster in mountains. Buell is really for "Bad weather" and when I'm sitting on Buell I'm happy from agile ride.

It would also be interesting to know what (how many) Buell owners have never owned a Harley.

'42 Knuck (wish I still had it)
XLCH Sportster (still have the occasional limp from starting it)
Flathead '54 45" trike (mild custom, fun on two wheels around corners)
Might be getting another one, or a BMW R1100S, or a bicycle, will know in about 12 days or more.

knuckleheads rule!!! at least thats what a lot of real harley purists think. i know of a knuck thats faster than my m2 by a long shot. ported STD heads, big ol' blower hangin off the side.

i dont have one, but i absolutely love riding those things. the rocker clutch, the tank shift, the "art" of starting one, the dry clutch chatter, the seat, the sound. 45's as well.

At the march 29th Buell/HD Track event I owned a bunch of them.

Turn 4 and Turn 9 they seemed to slow down to much and I would own them while I pulled past them in the corners.

As to actually having physical possession of a Harley - no thanks, not my kind of bike

Only thing I see myself on made by Harley is the V-Rod, but maybe someday when I'm an old fart the rest of them will grow on me.

2001 883 Sporster custom. Then bored to 1200, Buell Thunderstorm pistons, heads, screaming eagle cams, coil, ignition, mukuni carb, thunderheader pipe. Lots of cosmetic, wide glide, lowed the rear, solo seat, and lots of chrome.

Never owned a Harley (yet), only one I ever rode was an Evo Low Rider my brother-in-law used to have (1988 FXRS?)... often thought about buying a Sportster and making an XLCR replica... But there's a few other things on the wish list before an H-D....

Seems a few folks have owned a lot of bikes. I wonder what the record is?
