Yes I did search first, however, after about 20 plus threads I did not get the answers I was looking for.

1. Is there a MAC version of this?

2. Is there options to basically CLICK HERE for this set up
ex. If you have an aftermarket exhaust and air filter, CLICK HERE, and the software sets it up... or is it ALL manually imputed information as far as adjusting the maps.

Thanks for the info

Nope. You will need to either Bootcamp into Windows, or run a program like Parallels.

In between. It isn't a one click process, but if you have maps that you want to use, you can connect to your bike, fetch your maps and eeprom, load the new maps, then burn the new setup back to your bike.

VirtualBox is free, but I can not guarantee it will allow ECMspy to run properly. You will still need a windows XP disk image or installation disk to run it.

It runs fine. just get Virtual box and a copy of windows "bootable disk version" xp up to windows 7 and your all set. well besides the program as ecmspy or Tunerpro Rt.
both work 100% and both have the drivers for the cables to be installed on the mac side and the windows side that all.

Been there and did the test for yah and its rock solid.

Xoptimizedrsx, I tried doing that: running ECMSpy on VirtualBox with a Windows XP image. I can see the cable hardware chip in the device list in VirtualBox and make it available but when I run the program, it can't capture the port no matter what I do. I've tried it with two completely different versions of ECMSpy. They both seem unable to see the cable. Bike is on and everything.

Is there something special you did?

Nevermind. I figured it out. Runs fine under virtualbox. Follow the cable installation instructions and the ecmspy instructions carefully. Capture the ftdi cable from the devices menu and you should be good to go.
