My Buell has the breather reroute mod, a Drummer exhaust, K&N filter and the Erik Buell Racing Drummer Race ECM. Would the American Sport Bike open air box alter my performance at all or is the airflow already maximized and its purely cosmetic? | ||

Your 09 is already pretty open, you won't gain much if anything noticeable. It helped the top end a bit on the older XB's with the more restrictive airbox. I do like the open airbox noise from the throttle body, and it looks great with the hero blue translucent airbox. |
