The saddle bags add +6HP you know!?

I commute 50 miles to work (one way) each day and I just put the saddlebags on tonight. Anyone regularly see 90+ with these things on?

I don't want to find out the hard way that they make better winglets than they do bags!

Thanks again to Steve who went out of his way to get these (after going back to the dealer) for me and shipped 'em across the country. Still made out like a bandit!

On my 12 there was no difference below 100-110 which is higher then I had planned to hit but a Semi changed that. I also have the the big Cortech Tourmasters for bags.

Well, I'll have to agree -- nothing flew off and I can't say I even noticed them there...lane splitting was also not affected.

They don't hold much and they don't lock, but they look cool!

Thanks,

Chris

YEAH the cortech bags are ok up to 110, IF they are lashed securely. had to run the front tie straps together under the seat, next to the rear shock. when they are tied individually to the passenger peg mounting frame they will flapabove 80 mph. not too ugly, for luggage.

update on the cortech bags. had a road trip in the rain, which included 50 miles of road construction (50 miles of mud bog) they pretty much filled up with muddy water. these bags are pretty marginal in inclement weather. ok for dry conditions, but they turn into soggy crap when wet. they are about half worn out after 3 road trips. only 130 bucks, and they are about trashed after maybe 40 hours of use. so i guess you get what you pay for. dean
