she is finally done with the exception of changing the horn fuse I blew and my mirrors which should be here when the mail gets here.

I am loving it. I have been jonesing for it to look like this. I put the renthal ultra low bars on it.

thanks guys...I could not be happier with it. At first I was just going to have those mirrors until I could afford some aprilia mirrors but I kinda like the fat that my elbow is no longer in the way. The only thing I don't like about them is that they really do make things look further then things really are.


I am also glad i did not have to re wire the whole bike like I thought I was going to have to do. For those who thing it was my idea to not re wire the bike it is not my idea it was actually Kevin from KDfab that did it before me. I seen a firebolt done like this on ebay for sale and I messaged the guy to ask him if he rewired it and he told me that Kevin helped him with it and that everything fit except the horn which he was right.

ok I just took her out at night for the first time a few minutes ago and I found out my headlights were shooting strait for the sky so tomorrow I will have to adjust them so I can see the road and in front of me not above me.

You'll love how much more light the S has over the R, the stock R lights simply suck IMHO.

Yea your bike and GJ's "lil blackie" were two of my favorite bikes for the longest...But now I have my own set up the way i like it.

finally got my lights set to were I can see with them but tomorrow I will have to change the location of my horn which I will have to run some wires and mount it on the bike some were.

finally have the correct cables on there (which my clutch cable needed changing regardless and I did not even know it.) Also some pictures with my old bike that I don't own any more.

I did not put it anywhere it is were it came from the factory...what does the rear brake resivor have to do with changing the front end?

I thought you did a rear swap, I just finished making my Ss an R, and I am trying to figure out where to mount the resevoir now, lol.
