Don't bother with that junk unless you want someone to crash into you. It looks like the Clear Alternatives unit. If you want an LED light with intergrated signals that is actually visible, get one from XBlights.com

I got a pair of XBlights on my 1125's, but without the intergrated signals. They simply rock!

Concur.

I used to own a Clear Alternatives light, and it sucked. Then I got an XBLights.com light....and holy crap. Here's a review I wrote up when I first got it:

Well I got me one finally I ran my XB with the Clear Alternatives light that came on the bike. It was ok, but only ok. The CA light was about the same brightness as the stock light, but only if directly behind it. Even slightly off-axis and it just didn't grab your attention. Now that my girlfriend rides the XB, It concerns me that she wouldn't have the best and safest light out there.

I wanted to show the difference in a different way. Because the XBLight is SO bright, it is difficult to do comparison shots with different pics, so I rigged up a little harness to run them both at the same time. I got the CA light on axis to show it at it's best.

Here they are, both in running light mode:

And in brake light mode:

All I can say is THANK YOU to Robert at XBLights! Top quality work, top notch guy. This light is worth it's weight in gold- if you are even remotely thinking about purchasing one...get off the fence and get one!

A couple of other notes:

It would appear the the XBLight is brighter in running light mode than the CA light is in brake light mode! So there's some perspective for you.

Also, keep in mind that in these pics, the CA light has a clear lens in it for maximum brightness and the XBLight has a red lens on it, but can be purchased with a clear lens for an EVEN BRIGHTER light!

awesome pics. thanks

does the light package have an option to come with a fender eliminator, or just the light and components? And if not, can anyone recommend a quality fender eliminator that fits snug and is of quality?

I bought a light from XBLights, and I absolutely love it. I got the smoked cover with integrated turn signals. The brightness alone is amazing. But, just for more visibility, I ordered a brake light modulator from American Sport Bike and it is even better! The money spent on the knock off will only make you wish you put it towards one from XBLights. Just my $0.02.

Rah7777777 who makes the xblights usually speaks highly of the ones American Sport Bike sells if you don't choose to go with his.

It is the OEM light on 2010 Firebolt, Lightning, and 1125 models. It is a good light if you are on a budget, DOT approved but no where near as bright as the XB lights. Also, it isn't available with the turn signals intergrated. Still, that OEM light is light years ahead of the Clear Alternatives light.

Hello all, thanks for the kind words!!

First off, we should note the American Sport Bike sells a few different versions. He has a unit that's 250-350 bucks, this is the only other integrated unit I would suggest over XB Lights. I have heard only praise on those lights.

The 2010 factory light really isn't a bad deal. It's okay bright for the price. But it has a clear lens and no signals.

Of course I think the XB Lights units are the best, but different strokes for different folks.

Clear alternatives is hands down JUNK!!!

Thank you again for the positive feedback folks!!!
