Originally I had picked up a couple plates of aluminum to do this. While laying it out, I scrapped the plate idea and came up with this. The frame is 3/8 aluminum rod put through the bender. The legs are 1in. aluminum stock. Pin it together for the mock-up, and have it welded on the back only. I made the cover itself a while ago. Just made the cage. I have a piece of clear lexan that is going in the frame to protect the wires. I really gotta get my new tires on............












Because the 3/8 rod is 2011 alloy, it contains copper mixed with the aluminum, and therefore does not anodize well. I'll polish on it for the next couple days and see how it goes. A little bit of fun sh1t for ya.

Perhaps it would look nice if you gave it a White paintjob?
