Can anyone tell me the correct bore size of the front brake lever on a 9s ? I want to ditch the hidious OE cast reservoir/lever assembly and fit (possibly) a radial lever and remote reservoir. Thanks in advance. |

stoobr2, i think 1/2" i'm not sure as i hear 9 mm as well ?? i'm thinking about a spiegler radial gonna try out a 19mm, in my personal vision it's to big, but i can try it before i buy it i spook with a guy who say's it ok and go for it, but i'd like to try it first and see if i like it or decide to go for the 14 mm one gr,b

I quite fancy fitting a Magura/PVM radial set-up,used the levers before on my SP1 and they were fantastic both in quality (fully adjustable pivot points for reach/feel) and quality.Plus the Magura lever dont look disimular to some aftermarket billet levers i've seen for XB's on american sportsbike,i'm thinking fitting a clutch lever that looks simular,so the brake lever won't look out of place. 19mm sounds familar Bud,might even try the lever assembly off my ZX7R track bike to see if that i'll work for the time being. Keep us informed Bud,I've seen you post on our UK Buell forum ? |
