Is there one on the 12r and if so, has anyone removed it? Theoretically the removal will increase the amount of flow into the intake system.   Unibear12r Posted on Monday, June 14, 2004 - 11:44 pm:        Yes I took it out of my 12R. Runs through the frame from the left side air scoop into the airbox outside the filter. Leave the stack inside the filter in place. Best done with a change to the race filter. You can do both without any other changes like ecm etc.. Great pictures in the Knowledge Vault.
