do i need to just tighten up the switch a bit or replace the washer? switch seems to work fine. i ordered the washer november 22, still don't have it. anyone know if i can use something else?

I have never heard of that. What does the washer look like?

don't know, haven't taken the switch out yet. the transmission sprocket has to be removed first.

Whoa -----I was told that with my '06 Uly but after some careful looking and measuring I was able to remove / install this with a modified socket. This socket tucks in behind the front sprocket and also fits into the recess in the crankcase.

I had to take the wheel off so I could move the belt out of the way but this is the special tool (socket was a slightly rusty one I picked up for 50c at a swap meet ground down on the bench grinder).



Let me know if you want the dimensions of this - I don't have them at hand at the moment.
BTW - given the construction of the switch it probably isn't impossible for it to leak out of the end where the insulator is crimped?
