update! I'm getting along better. Dr's on the 10th. I've lost a lot of weight...that's a good thing! HEHE! My motion is getting better in my foot. There's some pics from the first visit.
YES, that's a Audi logo on my ankle. I'm thinking this will get a old school racing disc on this leg too, with a number 14 in the center for the 14 screws |

It's good to hear your doing better. Looks painful as hell. Since you lost a bunch of weight, you can go faster and wheelie easier. Just wait till you get more than 100 yards from the house. |

It looks like you put a metal comb in your leg. Heal up, the riding season is upon us. |

Thanks guys! The support and the well wishes mean a lot. I'm still not very mobile, and taking more pain pills than I care to admit. This damn thing aches! I can tell when it's going to rain, and when it does, I can't sleep enough. God I miss riding. To add insult to injury, I've lost my job over this. I was fired...over a voicemail. |

Glad that your healing well, you will be riding again soon, and as for your job.. dont stress, heal up and find another, if they were so classless ass to fire you over voicemail, they were not worth working for anyway.. jeesh. voicemail Why in the X-ray does it look like screw is not in the plate? looks odd on the smaller bar, middle screw is just laying there.. Heal fast, and get back out there.. -Boca |

cool audi logo! dubber here... Rabbit pickup, wit audi badges on it tho :P throws alot of ppl off, "is that a REAL audi?" i tell them techinically yes, as 99% of all the parts have audi logos on them. nice stiches, looks cool! sucks about the screws and stuff tho, i had something similar happen but my bones are rubber. took along time to get 100% back up to speed, but you bet i was riding my S1 again as soon as i could limp into my gear and out to the bike... (rode with one of those velcro'd boots for a while on my right leg) |

Get on State Disability as soon as you can , (you probably already are) it pays better than Unemployment Insurance and you can be on it for one year . You payed into it , so use it . Jobs are hard to come by right now . I went through the same thing recently and have been out of work almost two years , sorry dude . |

@The4ork, Thanks man! I've had a few Rabbit trucks. Diesel's and a gas with a BUILT to the hilt GTI motor. That thing was a beast! @B1bomber, I'm not aware of this. Do you have any info? I've been living off my savings...which is going quickly since right before this I bought new furniture, the bike, and new suits for work...ugh! @Jbolt, The weather has been rainy here in Cincy. They were going to come pick it up and were gonna fix it. The rain won't stop! Delta_One was shipping me a new shifter lever for free. Godspeed Arron |

Nice X-Rays. Army patched my leg up almost the same way back in 2005 after a parachuting accident. Gotta love orth work. Heal quickly and LISTEN to your physical therapist. |

You can look up State Disability Insurance on the web , and I think you even apply for it at the website . It is connected to the Unemployment Insurance Dept. it might be on that web site also (EDD). Otherwise you can get the form at your Unemployment Insurance Office . There is a portion that your doctor has to fill out . My Disability Insurance payed about $150 more than my Unemployment , I was on it for a year , then went to Unemployment after . I live in a town that has the highest unemployment in CA. |

Is it legal to fire someone who was/is injured? I thought you could go on FMLA for 6 months? Hope you heal up soon. |

In CA. unless you were injured on the job , they can let you go . They have a "at will" hire and fire employment law in CA. , I dont know about other states . They just told me they had to fill my position and could not wait for me to heal... |
