I'm having a little trouble understanding the addressing system for the eeprom in ecmspy. I'm brand new to it and the learning curve seems a bit steeper than I thought.

I have the BUEGB231 computer. I'm trying to incorporate a baro sensor based on a writeup that EricZ was nice enough to send me. I found an index for the eeprom on ecmspy's site.
http://www.ecmspy.com/cgi-bin/ecm.cgi?ecm=7

The first value I'm supposed to change is "0x00f0" I want to be sure that I'm looking at the correct cell before I start to make changes. I realize that the first two digits "0x" are just there to signify that its a hex number. Does this mean that the next two numbers "00" are my x-coordinate and the last two numbers "f0" are my y-coordinate?
So, I'd be looking for column "00" and row "0f0" ?

If you look at the tuning guide version 2 on the ecmspy site it tells you how to do it, one of the last chapters I think.

Thanks you guys! Exactly the answers that I was looking for and as we all know, the answer to one question usually raises three more questions so I'm sure this won't be the last your hear from me.

The ECM uses the pressure reading to adjust fuel and timing maps.

It can be beneficial if you live at a higher altitude or have forced induction.

Terry, to be a bit more correct, the MAP sensor enabled DDFI-II setups only modify the fueling and not the ignition timing.
