Looking at the Mets M1s. What is the largest tire that can safely be put on this bike?

Anything other than the prescribed stock size tire will be detrimental to your XB12R's handling and a waste of rubber as the edges get pinched inwards leaving you with huge chicken strips than can never be erased. Stick with 180/55 on back and 120/70 on front.

I've run both 180 and 170 rears on my cyclone, I like the 170's better for handling, but I will buy whichever I can get a good deal on. I would definately NOT go over 180, even if it would fit (which it probably would not), as the handling would suffer too much.

Officially, the Cyclone is supposed to have a 170, but there is some evidence mine came from the factory with a 180.
