I'm looking for some white XB bodywork, if anyone has some for sale.
I only need the rear tail and pillion cover, tank cover and front fender.

hey andy.

i heard the bikes run really hot in the summer time with the header wrap do you have that problem?

They make the driver hot when they are not wrapped. They insulate the rest of the machine when they are wrapped. The extra heat in the exhaust gas helps it retain its energy and makes the machine more efficient. It also removes a small amount of noise from the headers. It also saves your textile riding gear from a burn.

If applied to regular steel or iron pipes it can cause major rust, but our machines use stainless. It does smell bad and may smoke for a very long time. The paint can burn off and look ugly.

No heat issues. I repaint about once/year, and the paint only stinks for about 5 minutes. It's due for paint job in that picture- got about 6,000 miles on it....so it doesn't get too bad.

Don't go powder coat, our pipes get too hot. Get them ceramic coated.

there was a white set in the classifieds section of another buellforum for $350 for the full set

Ourdee I am just painting my plastics white for my uly this winter. I got tired of lookin for a set already done.
