from the left side of the dash............
I think there are two things at least that rattle around 1500-2000 rpm, one is the mirror, if I hold it, it stops. I also think the left handguard is making noise as well, might be a third thing, the funny thing is there is no noise at all on the right side of the console. Any thoughts from the Guru's, any ideas for better mirrors? I'm going to take off the left mirror and take a ride and see if I can isolate the rattles!!

Thats interesting, usually its the horn under the flyscreen that rattles. Loosen and then re-tighten the controls, mirror stem and all the other fasteners in that area.

Maybe its the clutch lever? You could try adjusting the slack.

Also before you do anything, see if you can replicate it in your driveway by revving the motor.

ok, I tightened the mirror and the handguards..........
about half of the ratting at 2k is gone. Do I need to tighten the horn like Froggy said? Love the bike, but this rattle is annoying!!

The horn may not be loose. It may just be vibrating enough to contact something else. There's several ways to go to correct it. I just removed the mounting strap and bolted it directly on.
