I am having this weird issue that I am not sure what to do to fix.

I just moved from AZ to FL, and now when I start up the 9R she runs for a very short while and then the RPMs decrease, she chugs and then dies. It reminds me of a carb'd bike when it isnt warm and you dont set the choke. She doesnt correct the RPMs to stay running, or warm up.

It has done it twice now. It starts runs slowly drops the RPM's and then finally gives out and stops. Both times it did it, it was decently chilly,(although I am from AZ so my scale may be skewed.)

Once I get the bike to start and stay running it runs fine, but it takes quite a while for the RPM's to steady where it doesnt act like it wants to chug to its death.

Solutions?

It never did this in AZ.

Check plugs and then ride it for a while and let the ECM learn the new conditions. If plugs look wrecked, replace them.

Yes, it is the move to new location that is causing the problems.
You just need to ride it around 30 minutes for the ECM to relearn and adjust to your new surroundings.
If you have ecmSpy you can do a TPS reset, and that should help...

Drain the tank and put some fresh gas..

Wouldn't have the problem if you had rode it to Florida.

Wish I could have... Instead I drove a 26' U-Haul packed to the brim, towing a truck... getting all of 3mpg's at an astonishing speed of 55 the whole way!

Now that I am here, yall say just let the ecm learn by running?
Would it help to run it in open or closed loop?

The ecm learns in the ranges of 19-39% throttle and 1900-5000 rpm though this is for a 06 XB 12--- yours should be similar. The newer the bike the greater the range was--more computing power.The 16,20,and 24% ranges run through all those rpms so would get the most learn time.

Did you move the bike yourself? The last time I moved a moving company took the bike for me. Needless to say when I got it back the battery was dead and the spark plugs were FRIED. Apparently they really enjoyed starting it up and blipping the throttle to hear the race exhaust.
