Hey guys, it's been a while since I've been on here, but I know I saw this done on here before. I have an 03 Lightning low and should be making a deal on an 08 Lightning long soon. I want to take the long and put my low suspension and the standard lightning tail on it, essentially a Lightning low long or XB12SScg. From what I remember reading was that the tail swap and rear suspension are not direct bolt-ons, but can be done. Now on the front, the fork tube diameters are different, but if I do trees and all I should be fine right? If anybody has done any/all of this, please chime in and give me some advice. Also if anyone is interested, let me know if you would like to trade your lightning tail for my lightning long tail to give you some extra room on the bike or for better 2 up riding.
