Yes,we all need some way of boffo-ing the the fuel curve ourselves! But seriously,my old friend, mark dobeck,(inventor of the dynojet dyno),stated they have finally worked all the bugs out of the techlusion, and it does not cause any check lights, etc,we'll see! |

Tried one of the very early versions and wasn't really impressed. It took ages to set up on a dyno before it would run right, and you could only adjust it richer, not leaner. Hopefully this new one should be better. |

I have a 1040i techlusion on my bike. There are a couple of issues. One is that it will cause your check engine light to come on now and then. The other is what Trojan said. When trying to adjust the box, the bike will run like crap until the fuel injection settles. You can definately richen the mixture if that is what your bike needs. The new model is supposed to work with the O2 sensor. The 1040i only has four connections: power, ground, injector one, injector two. |

I have the 2002 Techlusion on my 2000 X1. Works like a champ with the race ecm, stock O2 sensor and aftermarket intake/exhaust mods. No check engine light problems either. Then again, an X1 is not an XB and I am clueless as to their dissimilarities electrically speaking. It was easily installed and adjusted on the dyno to remove the lean spots that cause piston holing and other related problems. Then again, removing the lean spots is/was the sole purpose of the Universal HD/BMC Techlusion box. |

I was told by Techlusion they should have resolved the engine light problem and have a new box coming out the end of this month. I rode before and after on a TL1000S and I could feel the difference. Hoping for the same results on my 9S. |
