Hi all from Perth, Western Australia.

My 2007 XB12R has reached 30,000km/h's and the drive belt is starting to fray and loose it's tension. Can any of you American's give me links to bike shops were I can buy a new belt online or can any of you buy a belt and post it to me and I will transfer to your account.

Regards buelllord

SRWmoto might be an option for you in Australia.

I am pretty sure American Sportbike ships overseas and is a well respected sponsor of the site. http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/17057.html

No wonder you're looking for an American shop. $260 for a belt! Ouch!

Thanks you lot, just tried American Sportsbike, $175 for the belt which is reasonable and $147 for freight which is stealing.
Does anyone want to buy it for me and post it to me. Postage should be no more than about $40 to Australia. I am willing to transfer directly into your account. [Trusting aren't I].

Did you contact American Sport Bike or did you just believe the shipping calculator on the site? Actual shipping is much lower.

Typical shipping on a belt to Australia via USPS express mail international is about $45. The web site says to disregard the shipping amounts on international orders.

Please ignore the post you lot, I have ordered from SRWmoto as it works out cheaper than buying from the States. I also need it fairly urgently as I am doing a long ride in 2 weeks and don't want to be stuck with a broken belt.

Thanks anyway you lot, this is not the first time you have come to my rescue ...........
