I have an '08 XB12XT. I got home and left the lights on because I'm a dumb ass and drained the battery. I charged it up, but now every time I turn the key on it blows the key switch fuse. The fuse blows as soon as I turn the key on. I had no problems with the bike before I drained the battery. Any idea what the problem might be?

make sure your seat isn't touching or pushing a cable into something you have a dead short. Also if your light stayed on the whole time you probably melted the housing and the headlight is shorting out

I just put a jumper wire in place of the key fuse and then when I turned the key on it blew the 30 amp battery fuse.

could be bad relay. I had the same problem before. Replacing the relays solved the problem.

when mine was doing this one of my headlights was the cause of it. Try un plugging your head lights.
