I'm thinking of reworking my whole handlebar setup with bars, grips, hand guards, mirrors, and possibly new switches.

Has anyone given thought to using something like these:

Thanks for any info.

If you are gonna go with an aftermarket switches setup, pick something that isn't so boring looking : )

The controls (or whats left of them) are still stock though. : )

If you thought that was NASA, you should see my computer with 5 monitors hooked up ; )

Sorry NASA lovers- I'm trying to simplify by controls. Ha ha.

Just looking for info about the technical aspects of hooking up alternative switches.

It shouldn't be that hard. My guess that you may have to change the connectors or splice the wires, but nothing complex. Only thing I would have concern over is the kill switch side, the throttle tube goes under the switches, so you would want a similar setup there.

Or a new compatible throttle tube.
