so 03 xb9 rides great but while im riding more accelerating and decelerating my check engine light is on or flashes very dim. like it shorting somewhere. also what would make the light go on? |

It's a loose/faulty wire someplace. First guess would be to check your headlight wires. |

If it's the R, check behind the lights and follow the wire back to the 4 wire connector. The black is the ground. It gets corroded and breaks down. If it's not, look under your seat. There's a wire there that gets worn by seat pressure. Hard to diagnose because the problem is only there when riding and the seat is weighted. |
