$1500.00. I'll help you out cuz your in a bind and give you 1750..

I don't know what it's worth except now does seem to be a buyers market. Which would be great if I had any money.. I would sujest looking on craigslist and ebay to see what they're going for. Seems the blue book and nada don't mean much these days

Shouldn't the prices start creeping up since most of the new buells have been sold? People need to stop letting them go for rock bottom prices. Keep in mind that less then a year ago your bike was worth 11k. Inmo they are still worth alot more then what people are letting them go for.

Yes, all buells should start to rise in price. It was a buyers market but its now starting to slowly change to a buell sellers market. A buell is worth what someone will pay for one, not what a book says its worth. Now that the new ones are gone, Its much harder to find the one you want. so people are making offers. I just had an offer today at a pawnshop. Mine is not for sale. He wanted to give me his # but I turned him down and told him I would not change my mind. I told him to find his own.

un-biased, probably $6-7,000. That's what I would pay if I didn't have a 2010 XB12 Scg I bought new and really wanted one.

Starting to be a sellers market my ass... no offense to you guys but I wish they sold for more. This would make the resale value as a whole a lot better.

For instance, lets look at the 1125R you can find ones with under 2k from $8K to as low as $5.5K. Once the prices are down they are down, its hard to recover off of a used market that is rock bottom. This is not just to say for Buell bikes but for all bikes in general.

My friend recently bought an awesome modded Ducati 1198 with like 900 miles for 14k. It literally has like 5K in work done to it. Cam, Ecm, New clutch, full Ti exhaust, dyno tuned (he even got the tune sheet) and a few other things. Out the door the first guy with to much money on his hands probably spent 20K-21K on the bike. How dumb...

Fact of the matter is that getting a bike that is a few years older is more economical. Most people just want to ride and when they see a Xb12Scg for 5K with like 4,000 miles people are willing to say I will save the money for mods, tires, insurance, gas, whatever. Personally I love the CG concept and I would get an 08 or newer, those prices are still high but they will none the less come down with in time.

Realistically its a shame that what someone paid 9,10,11K for ends up being half that price in a year. I partly blame Harley for slashing prices with dealer incentives to just get them out the door. Hell even my Harley dealer already removed the Buell sign from the front of the building.

I hope you can grab $7k to $8K for the bike but you might have to sit on it for awhile.

Good luck my friend!

Erik

Just crash it like I did. The Ins Company gave me $6200 for my 08 12Ss with 6800 miles on it. I was happy with that.

Thanks Fellas... I don't mind sitting on it a while. I love my bike, but my family comes first. Thanks again!

Littleman....I'm in the market for one. I was offered a 08 scg with under 4k miles on it for $5200 this week. I turned it down. I also see a low mileage 08 thats been re-listed on e-bay at least 3-4 times this month in colorado for $5,500 with no reserve. He is including 1 jacket and 2 helmets. Obviously your 09 should list for higher. I would really prefer an 09 with the black frame. So keep me in mind when you do decide to sell it. I'm in no rush to buy. I'm waiting for the right bike.

Edit: My mistake...thats a 08 xb12s in colorado not a scg.
