The new rosso corsas are amazing tires on the XB!!! They make the regular rossos seem crappy. I highly recommend them. I have a Ss and they work great. Tons o grip when leaned over.

Now you know.

The standard Rosso is not a particularly well-suited tire for the Buell, specifically the front. I had to push mine a lot harder into turns than Diablo Corsas, thus the front Rosso wore astonishingly fast. The new Rosso Corsa is supposedly a notable improvement.

I had the same problem with my old front rosso as well. I admit I kept using the regular rosso because it is so sexy.

Now I have cool looking tires that handle very well.

"i just bought a set of Rosso's how can i tell if they are the old style or new?"

The new one includes the word "Corsa" on the sidewall.

FYI if they are the new ones you can order custom gp style stickers for your sidewall.

Greg what the F*ck! are you ok?

I was lucky to score a set of rosso's for almost nothing! they are the older style, but well worth the price!

Rosso and Rosso Corsa are not in the same league, the Corsa version is not a replacement for the Rosso its a replacement for the Corsa III.

Rosso is a street sport tire. Rosso Corsa is a full blown sport/track tire (slower track pace... or colder day...).

I have a set on my XB12Ss and love it. Never ran a regular Rosso.

"the Corsa version is not a replacement for the Rosso"

I never believed so. I was under the distinct impression that the inquirer was interested in specifically which model he'd purchased.

Understood... just clarifying in case anyone took your use of "new" literally, as if the Corsa is the newer Rosso rather than a more newly developed tire.

Either way, I dig the tire : ).
