Is the Buell XB OBD-2 compliant? can a cable be constructed to allow normal regular scan tools to be used for resetting the ECM on our bikes?

I don't think anyone is working on the data stream. I was making an effort there for a while but couldn't find anyone who would allow me to use their DT for my recording process.

No. OBDII is an automotive specification. Motorcycles are not required to comply to it, and as far as I know none do.

M1, couldn't you just jumper the 2 wires, switch on the ignition and see if a datastream comes out the send wire and record that? Well, someone's gotta start somewhere...now don't come back with excuses ; )
