Anyone tried this? What are the main geometrical differences between 1125's and XB's forks (apart from the diameter)?

(leave that damn XB stock dude! *LOL*)

What else is there to know? It is the exact same as the standard Firebolt/Lightning fork, just 47mm instead of 43mm. Oh, the 1125 lower tree will not fit the XB due to the frame being notched differently, so if you are persistent you can stuff them into the XB trees. : )

Yuppers. Uly trees actually, as the 4.4 gallon models come with different trees than the 3 gallon bikes to give a bit more rake.

You made my day ...

now the tricky questions ...

1) how hard is to recycle the adapt the stock XB trees onto the 1125 forks? I mean brute force or smooth as butter?

2) worth it? handling/comfort?

thanks

They are stubborn but will slide in. I ended up using a rubber mallet and also slammed the front end on the ground a few times by raising it and releasing it with ratchet straps. I am a weakling and it worked.

2, I only did it because I needed to change the forks after having some car issues. Handling and comfort is still good, can't say if its any different.
