Does the machined part that the hardware attaches go to the out side of the wheel or the inside.I feel like it goes to the outside but want to make sure.

Machined side goes inside, up against the bosses on the rim.

Just got it together & came in the house.Got an E-mail from Erik Buell Racing tech & they said machined surface out........Now back in the heat to change it.

No big deal.I think it took me 15 minutes to switch it back.Now I'm fast on the front wheel remove/replace.

If it is hot outside, I bring the wheel inside. Guess I'm just old enough to get away with it. Of course my wife knew I welded in the kitchen in the winter before we got married. She doesn't let me do that anymore though.
