Ok so when I try to crank the bike in neutral (Clutch sensor is missing due to a wreck) I get one click from the starter and then the oil light and neutral light go off only to be replaced by the High beam light only the high beams are not on. And now the only way to reset this problem is to undo the battery.

Things I have already troubleshooted

Battery is still good and has a full charge

By this I figured the charging system was good and obviously the battery too

Bank angle sensor has broken off where i had it mounted so I restablized it unhooked the battery and hooked it back up and tryed again since cycling it off and on did not work

OK I know the last troubleshoot did not establish anything except that it is not that the BAS has not been tripped.

So what else can it be. Is it the BAS or just a loose ground or a loose hot wire. Please help me with this I sure hope it is not a bad starter.

Bad ground connection

Took off the ground wires scuffed them then tightened them back up and she started no problem
