Try an Airhawk.

Also, try an aspirin before you ride, then every four hours after that. It might be all you need.

Also stay hydrated.
Do you have one of these?

also look into the pilot road 2's for tires

they are a dual compound sport touring tire. the only downfall I have felt with them is the increase in braking distance over my powers and that is to be expected. I need to remember under panic braking that I cannot grab as much brakes as my powers allowed, I have locked them up a few times.
but on the other hand they are probably the best tire in the wet I have ever used. and they are great for mileage as well, I had had them installed late last season and probably have 4,000 miles on them and I could probably get another 4,000 out of them.

but the angel st's have great reviews and probably wont take as long to break in (maybe 600 miles before mine really felt good). I have not ridden on them yet so I cant give any feedback as to how they feel.

I don't think stopping distance would change much going from one sport touring type tire to another. I am using diablo stradas right now.

I think I am going to go with the angels though because I can get them for a better price than I can get the pilot road 2s for.

probably right there but it felt HUGE going from performance to sport touring.

how much are angels?
road 2's are about 270 shipped

I may pick up a set of angels too if they are cheaper : D
