This thing is loud!
Looks it!
What's the tone?
Is it the clown car tone, or a more serious tone?

I need one of those! Theres a lot of asshats in my area.
Clown car huh? (chuckle) I prefer the tricycle bulb air horn over the clown car tone, and the "dziiiing dziiiing" of the thumb bell is reserved for more serious situations.

The specs say 129db, dual tone. Its a get the f out my way tone. Kind of like a train. I had fun yesterday scaring the sh^t out of my friends, telling them the fuel pump is making noise then hitting the horn when they bent over to listen.

That doesn't interfere with shock travel being that close to it?

How long does it take from the moment the button is pushed until sound comes out? I had something similar on a car once and it took a few seconds before the noise came out.

Is it a Nautilus model? I thought they were one piece?

@Bootstzx3 - It is very close to the shock, maybe a little more than an 1/8". It may rub when the shock is compressed.

@Greg - There is no delay in the sound.

@Eldredma - Yes the Nautilus is a one piece, but it can be taken apart. I used my dremel to trim the black plastic and the mounting point on the compressor.

As far as what I used for air line and fittings. Both were found at Home Depot. The fitting is an 1/8" MIP x 1.5" long brass nipple, but I painted it flat black. The air line is 5/16" ID vinyl tubing. The 5/16" ID tubing fits the compressor piece and brass nipple perfectly.
