Hi guys,

Im used to a 6 speed tranny, and I keep trying to shift from 5th to 6th accidently. I dont know exactly how a tranny works, so my question is - Am I going to bend something or damage anything inside the tranny from pulling on the shifter when there arent any more gears to go??

Jack

Doubtful, unless you have a 90lb foot and have reversed the shift pattern...

Sometimes I do that on purposed just to mess with drivers and riders near me. ; )
Once I even had someone thinking I had an 8-speed tranny for a few minutes. : )
