No worries. It is mounted correctly and has good reviews for riding in the rain.

Looks backwards to me. Mine face the other direction....

So the angel on your tire is upside down?

Did some searching and it is strange but it looks like the front face just the opposite of the rear. It looks like the grooves would push water toward the center instead of outward.

I'm in the process of checking too.....based on the pictures I've seen online, it looks correct to me. Am I missing something?

Look at the sidewalls, there should be an arrow or some other indicator showing direction of rotation.

Based on the video I see on Pirelli's site, at 14 seconds of the video, the tread matches my tire....

Here's a picture taken from the right side of the bike:

@Marksm

Is your tire on backwards?

Nah. I only have the Pirelli Angel on the rear. But judging by what I've seen in auto tires and other Bike tires I don't see how they would want the front mounted with the V shaped tread oriented like that. Go forth and corner quickly.

Hope the rotor does not hit the wheel balancing weight when it floats. It looks close in the pic.

@Rsh

It does look really close in the picture. I just checked it in the garage and it looks fine to me. I took the picture from a sharp angle. Thanks for pointing it out though, I'll keep my eye on it while I rack up the miles.

Well, I just finished installing the rear tire. Ten minutes into it, we got hammered with a huge rain storm and lost power, so I finished with a flashlight. I'm definitely glad I decided to take this on myself because I'm that much more comfortable with the bike. I also found out that the dealer never used anti-seize on the front axle...it definitely has some on there now. I'll post up some final pictures tomorrow when it's not black outside. Thanks again for all of the tips along the way.

Nice Bike. I was wondering how the Ventura rack would look on a Bike with a chopped tail.

Nick,

Just curious how the Ventura rack mounts to a Buell. Looks like it bolts to the back bolt of the passenger peg mounts. I assume it must bolt up to something near the cheese grater too, I just don't see what that would be on my bike. Any chance of a detailed pic of that?

Thanks! We've got on on our Triumph, thinking it might be nice on the Buell once in a while.
