I put almost 600 miles a week on my XB9S and now that I have over 35,000 miles on my bike it's starting to feel kinda "loose". It nose dives pretty hard when I brake and I've always had them set to the firmest adjustment so I know they need to be looked at.

I'm looking for a place with quick turn around 'cause I ride my bike a lot and want to get it back on the road asap. Don't need re-valving or different springs... just want them serviced.

Any suggestions?

your garage! Type fork oil change in the search here. Plenty of info on how to do it yourself. Grab a book on your bike as well. May take awhile your first time but worth not having to pay a tech $85 a hour.

I already have the book and have read up on how to do it and I've already rebuilt a few sway-a-way coilovers before but I don't really want to do my own forks. First thing that turned me away was some special tool needed to get them apart. I don't even have a way to hold them really. I don't fully grasp how everything goes together and now isn't the time to learn.

If someone wanted to let me shadow them while they did it I'd consider it but the last thing I need is to fnck up my forks and then have my bike get side lined.

Any other suggestions?

I did mine on the bike. Spent about $100 total for a fork compressor, seal driver and fluid leveler. Way less than the 2 hours labor I was quoted and now I have more tools.

I can change your fork oil and cleaning both inside forks when you needed.
price of it $100 both forks that include oil
I recommend you to adjust oil level +30mm than stock, 10W fork oil.

Pleas let me know.

That is an awesome offer. I wish I knew someone close by here in NJ to help me do it. My local dealer quoted me $475 plus the cost of oil. I'm going to wait until winter and do it myself.
