I've checked the fuse, the connector from the headlights to the harness, and the switch. What are the chances that both bulbs are blown? Does anyone have any suggestions?

When you toggle the high beam switch on, do you get the light on the dash?

Yeah, it still shows the high beam light.

pop off yer fly screen and check for continuity (OHMS) across the yellow/black white/black wires on the headlight side; that'll tell you if your bulbs are good or not. or if the bulbs have wiggled them selves out of the plugs. then check voltage coming from the other side of the deutsch connector.

also take a look at the female/male pins and the surrounding plastic.
i put too much load (accesory lights) on mine, and the female connector over heated and needed to be pinched back into shape. also the plastic around that pin was yellowish from the heat.

ground wire might be broken behind the headlight assembly where it attaches to the frame....

I had similar issues, and it turned out to be bad bulbs. Can't hurt to try a new bulb. Worst case is you'll end up with an extra bulb. Mine was popping bulbs randomly, never did figure out why it stopped doing that. Wear rubber gloves when handling them.

Messed around with it some more today and the high beam light does NOT come on with the headlights plugged in but it does come on when the headlights are unplugged. Does this tell you guys anything?

+1 on the ground. Check your battery connections.

Roger that - the solenoid has started clicking when I try to start it up. Maybe the freaking battery is just shot. Aside from the battery ground, are there other grounds to check? I know there's a grounding point behind the headlights and one under the seat? Anywhere else?

Same deal happened to me. Mine turned out to be a broken wire inside of the wires insulation. It was right around the part of the main harness that gets bent when you turn. Can be a pain to find, you will have to wiggle the wire to find it.

OK, got a new battery about 3 days ago - no joy, still no headlights. I checked all the grounding points on the bike with a meter and everything rings out. I'm riding it around at lunch today and poof, headlights are working now WTF? Anyone?

In the wiring immediately behind the bulb connectors I pulled the electrical tape back to find an exposed wire. Prior to that I was blowing bulbs like crazy. Once the problem was found I was of the opinion that someone had cut that wire during the bike's initial assembly and covered it up without realizing it was an issue. I've had not trouble since correcting the problem.

Check the grounding point at the front of the frame under the flyscreen yet?
I had one of those go on me when I added two driving lights to the load.
