Everyone always talks about what exhaust pipe to slip but I can never find any information on a new head pipe. Does anyone have an opinion on one? I see a lot manufactured in the UK. Is there a US company that has a larger diameter head pipe? I had one ceramic coated but the more I thought about it I would rather put one on that will help the bike in HP not just look. | ||

Getting larger than the ports may be of little value, the 12 header is as large or nearly as large as the ports so I don't think you will get a performance gain. Micron used to make an equal length header to go with their muffler, made a decent amount of power too. The only other equal length I've seen is something cut and welded from bent sections of tubing, not something I would put on my cycle unless it was wrapped, really needs to be fewer joints for a smoother inside. |
