The engine light came on yesterday so I came back home to take a look. I quickly found the exhaust actuator was not functioning properly. I adjusted it and then took it for a spin and no engine light, but I do have a question. When I perform the test cycle for the muffler actuator and continue holding the throttle wide open after the test is complete I should get the codes if any are stored (if I understand correctly). I get a code 21 (muffler actuator) followed by four flashes. I still get this code after the issue was corrected, so I take that it is stored. I understand the 21 code but what do the four flashes indicate? |
