local dealer has told me about the hardware from the factory for the Firebolt fairing and windscreen.
All seemed ok (plastic washers and bolts) except some sort of nuts that they want $2.50 each for

Can someone give me some insight on this?
I dont have a Firebolt, but putting the fairing on it and want to get this together ASAP

Thanks for any assistance, would love to just go to the local hardware store and pick up some stuff on the cheap.

Thanks
goodnight

It's a "well-nut", a brass nut enclosed in a rubber tube with a proud end that serves as a top or flange so you can only pust it in to the hole it goes in so far. $2.50 sounds crazy but if that's what it is than that's what it is. You should need six of them for a Bolts windscreen.

Anyone know what size the wellnut is so I can search for that exclusively
It'd also help with searching locally

I really appreciate any help, Im short on time and really want to get this on the bike ASAP

Try the hardware section at Home Depot or Lowes.. I know they have well nuts but not sure if they have the size you need.
