I finally have some pictures of the minibullet LED turn signals from Harrison specialties:
http://www.harrisonspecialties.com/mm5/merchant.mv c?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=HS&Category_Code=MiniB

They required modification to put in an 8mm tube to make them fit my 9R. This required drilling the signal body and installing a threaded insert (12mm to 8mm). The minibullet was chosen after talking to the owner and telling him my plan, the other signals may not have enough metal for the insert. If there is enough interest he may consider making sets with the 8mm tube instead of the 3/8inch tube they come with. An LED flasher from American Sport Bike was used to drive them at the correct rate. I wanted something smaller so that I could use my saddle bags without breaking the stock signals.

Please note that these signals are not DOT approved, do not sell your stock signals in case you need to swap back for inspections or a ticket.

The video isn't showing in a window, so here is the link:

Edit 2... God I hate the way things are linked, can someone fix this for me?

Nice, and the white wrap doesn't look bad either.
Nice job!

Pictures make the wrap look 1000 times better than real life. It's only tan when hot, turns gray when cold and I can't wipe the gray off so it must be burned paint.

I like those signals and no the wrap doesn't look bad. I was going to go with pig spotters that had turn signals in them. The Chevy ended that mod though....

Cortech sport saddle and tail bag, kind of requires the smaller lights to fit properly which was the biggest reason for the change.

I was looking at those same ones for my rear, but I didn't realize they weren't DOT. Good to know.

You should pick up the little clear lens caps they offer... they're only like $3 or something, and make 'em look a little more "finished", IMHO.

I have the caps, not sure how to attach them aside from some sort of glue.

These are pretty close to DOT sized, but I think to be DOT they also need to be spaced a certain distance apart, and also need a certain amount of side visibility.

One thing that is nice is they come on in an instant and if you are directly in their path they are bright. I also did a "cheap" 1157 LED lamp replacement for the brake light that includes 6 white LEDs that help shine down on the plate. So aside from the headlights everything is LED now.
