Yeah, full fairing ftw! DEI makes Reflect-A-Cool, self adhesive built in. Used it to line my belly pan right under the exhaust. Odie's stuff looks on point though, would make a good investment! Wonder how much the insulation effects intake temp, seems similar to the F.A.S.T. intake system.

Update: I ended up ordering some black wire-laced ducting. I will run it from the inside leading edge of the fairing to underneath the frame at the rear cylinder. I wasn't convinced that there would be enough pressure under the full fairing to make a bolt-on right side air scoop work.

This particular tube is 3" wide. Was cheap so I can experiment different sizes.

I don't know how I'll be able to test the effectiveness though. Even with the bodywork off my fan has been running at shut-down. It's been running hot ever since I added more fuel to the mix.

Hmmmm I'mma follow this. I'mma order the small left scoop from American Sport Bike, the ram air/cooler for the left and see if theres a difference. I'm wrapping my headers as soon as I get time.

Thanks for the tips everyone : )

Why would you want to put a full fairing on a Lightning? I think it kind of defeats the purpose of the bikes style.

True, it wouldn't be a streetfighter anymore.

Ceo, my bike came with Sharkskinz already installed from previous owner. They can be bought from Hal's harley Davidson in Wisconsin, http://halshd.com/

CEO- Airtech sells their own brand, and Hal's Harley Davidson is the exlusive US dealer for Sharkskinz Buell fairings. Apperently either Sharkskinz doesn't like Buell or doesn't think we're good enough to list on its site : )

I ordered a salvage OEM left air/ram scoop with a oem normal size RSS with a broken outer edge on ebay, both for $5 each. I can fix the broken edge with duct tape or some other method that will come to me and my father after some Bud Lights : )

I like your idea though Keys, lemme know how it works bro!
