Hold on, I am puzzled. Are you saying that you simply polished off the matte finish on the covers and you got that look? If so, tell us how you did that and how long. It looks great.

BTW-did you pull off the air scoop to the intake/back cylinder or am I missing it?

Great job!

PS-what did you do with the exhaust pipes?

What the hell is that weird bracket portion of the Force pipe hanging off in front?

Brucelee. I don't know how long it would take, but yes, it's aluminum and can be polished.

Also, the ram air intake is missing, whether that's intentional or it just hasn't been put back, I don't know.

PS-what did you do with the exhaust pipes?
He paid big $bucks$ to buy the Force exhaust system from Nallin, which broke in short order due to a defect, the pipe was sent back to Force, they gave him the runaround for at least six months while they were fixing the pipe, Force recently fixed it and now it's finally back!

See the full story under the topic: "Nallin Signature Exhaust Redesign!"

"yeah, I took the air scoop off. too much plastic hiding the motor"

I think you need this particular piece of plastic. Great looking bike though.

Good luck!

polishing list:
shifter/linkage
front motor mount
idler pully arm
frame
and maybe the piece behind the front fly screen.
then I'll have to chrome that bracket for the oil cooler, I think that whole bracket/bars are steel.

Misato,

I have polished the shifter and front motor mount on mine. Those come out great. I think I am going to do the actual idler pulley on the face. Did you have to pull the rocker covers to remove the timing cover? (the one opposite of the primary)

I had an 'oil leak' so when the dealer replaced the gasket, I swapped them for the polished cover.. I didn't have to do it. they said something like 5 hours tho in the book.
