Noticed yesterday that when I adjusted my idle up to the 1000-1050 range yesterday (must have been around 900-950) that my popping on deceleration decreased significantly and it starts better cold.

yes, the more open the closed throttle position is (higher idle speed = more open), the less popping you get. Fullpower said it best yesterday. It is a tradeoff on an xb. You get your idle set too high and it begins to hang at too high of idle speeds before it settles.

I did not rejet too lean on the M2. I am not that dumb.

Race ecm is supposed to be here any day. Now I have to figure out how to get it in for TPS reset while working 10 hours a day.

I have had the D&D for about 3 months. Just in the last week the popping has completely disappeared. Not complaining but does anyone know why this would happen? Seems to be running great. D&D, race ECM, K&N.

Haven't had a problem with the RPM hanging since I adjusted the idle up.

Only time I ever had a problem like that was when the bike needed a TPS reset right about the time it went in for 2,500 mile service and it cleared right up.
