Just bought a drive belt Buell # G0500.1AKF for a XB12Ss and there was a Goodyear # 15 01910 on the belt as well. Can I buy this belt somewhere else at a better price than $175.00? Thanks for the help!!!!

No, the dealer is the only source for belts. Someone tried going through Goodyear directly but was unable to get it.

Thanks Mr. Froggy. That new belt that I installed was a little tighter than the one that broke. It should loosen up when I get some miles on it, right?

New belts are tight, they will loosen up after time. I recommend you swap it out at 10k miles and get a new one, as the used belts go on easy from the side of the road.

Yeah loose is the word... I've got 24K miles on mine and it's scary loose!

Thanks for the source Ryan, I'm gonna get one just for GP.

Melvin,
Get the new one and put it on. Carry the used one as a spare. With it being loose it will be easy to put on on the side of the road.
