hey you guys in new this area. i just bought a 03 xb9 she looks great il get some pictures later for you guys. but the only problem is that the speedo doesnt work as well as the odometer. where can i find the sensor or any other suggestions to figure it out.

When I get off of work I can give you the part number they are about $60 new. I have to get one ordered too as mine has the same problem.

really but im not 100 percent sure that is the problem. where is the sensor so that i can check??

I had the same problem, no odometer and speedometer, on a 2005 XB12S. As soon as I replaced the speedometer cable, it began working. It is located on the right side of your bike, behind the rear master cylinder. You can get a used one on eBay pretty cheap. That is what I did. Good luck!
