I'm looking for a top mount steering dampner for my XB9r, but all I can find is side mounting dampners. Can anyone help me on this subject?

thanks

That's my recommendation as well. All the others mount on the side that I have found.

Al at American Sport Bike was talking about making a triple mount for Scott rotary dampers. I have one on the SV and like it.

Otherwise a front cross mounted rod damper would be my next choice. And Woodcraft makes nice stuff - well designed and sturdy.

Can the Woodcraft damper work on the XB9S model?

XB9-
You have the woodcraft damper on your bike?
Do you know if it would be able to mount on the XB9S model or just the R model?
Also, how much did the damper run you?

Are there any dampers out there currently that will work on the S?

Misato; I think the bar mounts on an "S" model might interfere with a Scott damper - although I seem to remember someone making an adapter for the SV-X models which have tubular bars also. Let me go look ... stomp stomp stomp

Yep, here it is ... Click on "00-02  SUZUKI  SV650  w/ Handle Bars"
