Hey Guys, A month or so ago I ordered some spark plugs for my 2009 Buell XB12Scg (#5889). http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/5889.html After I removed one of the stock plugs this afternoon with my 5/8 socket, I noticed these new plugs do not fit in the 5/8 socket. Before I install these in my bike, I just wanted to double check with you guys that these are the correct spark plug for my bike. The new plugs fit perfectly inside an 18mm socket. Does this sound correct? I just sent an email to them, but I'm not sure if they're open on the weekends. Thanks, Nick |

make sure they are 10 mm plugs if they have bigger socket size they may be 14 mm and wont fit. I use Vrod plugs for the XB |

The stock 5/8 plug fits nicely inside a 16mm socket. And the new plugs fit inside a 18mm socket. The 10mm and 14mm sockets are too small. Here's a couple pictures of my fouled plug with only 3200 miles on it: -Nick- |
