Can they still be had? They seem to be more popular as a replacement than stock. Mine traction grips are worn and was hoping to pick up a new set, but I know the non oem stuff from buell went bye bye.

I went to Uke's HD/Buell in Kenosha, Wi and they said they were obsolete. I am looking for a set also.

They are pretty much gone at this point, if you can find them, grab it. Its no loss, there are better grips available anyway, like the stock ones and the OEM heated ones.

Try b u e l l p a r t s . n e t. They have tons of buell parts in stock. I have an extra set but my girl laid claim to them today. I won a free set of the traction grips, frame pucks, and an extra set of oem foot pegs from buellxb.com. They have a monthly drawing. Its free. It just started this year and I was the first to win. It was called a collision package for incase I ever droped my bike I would have a back up set.

Watch Ebay. Several dealers have them for sale and most have sold around $20.00 per set. They sold for $16.00 or so before so it's not an unreasonable price.

Not to jack a thread, but what are some other good options. I have heard good things about the Traction grips but would go with something else for availability. Thanks and again I mean no thread jackage!

I like these thick gel grips from American Sport Bike:

Very similar shape to the Traction grip, but with a "cushier" feel.
